Job Description: IT Executive – Network & IT Asset Management

Department: Information Technology (IT)
Location: Corporate / Factory / Multi-location Support
Reporting To: IT Manager / Head of IT

Role Overview:

The IT Executive will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, network systems, and IT assets. The role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations, network uptime, hardware/software availability, and proper tracking and lifecycle management of IT assets across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and vendors for resolution of network-related issues.
• Manage IT assets including laptops, desktops, printers, servers, and peripherals across all departments and locations.
• Maintain updated IT asset register with allocation, movement, repair, and disposal records.
• Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and basic software applications.
• Provide first-level IT support for employees (hardware, software, email, connectivity issues).
• Support user onboarding/offboarding from an IT perspective (device allocation, access setup, retrieval of assets).
• Ensure IT security compliance including antivirus updates, access control, and basic cybersecurity hygiene.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC, repairs, upgrades, and procurement of IT equipment.
• Assist in IT audits and maintain documentation for compliance and reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of computer networks (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VPNs)
• Knowledge of IT asset management practices
• Good troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices
• Vendor management and coordination skills
• Strong documentation and tracking discipline
• Problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support / network administration / IT asset management
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+ (preferred but not mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
