Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled IT Network Junior Engineer to support and maintain network infrastructure at on-site locations. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fieldwork, hardware setup, and resolving on-site network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, access points, and firewalls at site locations.
• · Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
• · Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs to minimize network downtime.
• · Conduct cabling installations, including fiber optics and Ethernet connections.
• · Support VoIP systems, surveillance systems, and IoT devices connected to the network.
• · Ensure network security and compliance with company IT policies.
• · Perform site surveys to assess network infrastructure needs and improvements.
• · Monitor network performance, identifying and fixing bottlenecks.
• · Provide technical support to end-users and coordinate with remote IT teams.
• · Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and issue resolutions.

Required Skills

• · Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or related field.
• · Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
• · Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
• · Experience with network cabling, fiber optics, and patch panel installations.
• · Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues independently.
• · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a field-based environment.
• · Willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.
