You will lead the Accounts Payable function, overseeing end-to-end invoice-to-pay processes, team performance, vendor management, and controls. You’ll drive on time, make accurate payments, ensure compliance, improve cycle times, and partner with Procurement, Receiving, Treasury, FP&A, and IT.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own invoice workflow: PO and non-PO processing, 2/3-way match, exception handling, approvals, and escalation paths.
Manage payment operations: weekly/biweekly runs, approval workflows, ACH/wire/check/virtual card, payment calendars, and urgent/rush payments.
Vendor master & onboarding: W 9/W 8 collection, TIN validation, 1099/1042 S readiness, risk checks, and data hygiene.
Employee expenses: administer T&E policy and tools (e.g., Concur/Expensify), audit compliance, and handle exceptions.
Close & reporting: AP aging, GR/IR review, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis; support external/internal audits.
Controls & compliance: maintain SOX-ready processes, segregation of duties, approval matrices, and documentation; coordinate with Tax on sales/use tax, VAT/GST, and escheatment.
Continuous improvement: monitor KPIs, reduce invoice cycle time and exceptions, capture early pay discounts, standardize work, and drive automation with OCR/e invoicing/ERP enhancements.
Cross-functional: partner with Procurement on P2P policies, Receiving on receipts, and Treasury on cash forecasting and DPO management.
Global support (if applicable): multi-entity, multi-currency, FX impacts, and local e invoicing/PEPPOL compliance.

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
Strong knowledge of AP best practices, GAAP, and internal controls; SOX environment experience preferred.
SAP proficiency and AP workflow/OCR tools; advanced Excel proficiency and basic reporting/BI skills.
Experience with vendor master governance, SAP tool, and T&E administration.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have: Lean/Kaizen, IOFM APM/APS certification, global VAT/GST exposure, e‑invoicing frameworks
