Role Overview

We Are Hiring A Reels-First Video Editor Who Understands Social Media Natively. This Role Is For Someone Who Can Turn Raw Footage Into Scroll-Stopping Reels With Strong Pacing, Clean Transitions, Motion Graphics, Kinetic Text, And High-Quality Sound Design.

If Your Background Is Mainly Long-Form Films, Weddings, Or Corporate Videos (And Not Short-Form Reels Editing), This Role Will Not Be A Fit.

What You Will Do

• Edit Social Media Reels (15–60 Seconds) For Brands And Creators With A Strong Focus On Retention.
• Build Fast, Clean, Modern Edits With Great Pacing, Cuts, Speed Ramps, And Transitions (When Needed, Not Overused).
• Create Motion Graphics And Kinetic Captions Using After Effects.
• Handle Sound Design (SFX, Music Choices, Audio Cleanup, Beat Matching).
• Do Basic Color Correction / Grading For A Premium Look.
• Work With Creative Strategists And Shoot Teams To Match References And Improve Concepts.
• Deliver Multiple Variations (Hook Options, Caption Styles, Alternate Endings) When Required.
• Maintain Clean Project Files, Versioning, And Timelines In A Fast Agency Workflow.

Must-Have Requirements

• 4+ Years In Video Editing (With Strong Short-Form Experience).
• 2+ Years Specifically Editing Instagram Reels / YouTube For Brands Or Creators.
• Strong Command Of Adobe Premiere Pro (Non-Negotiable).
• Working Knowledge Of After Effects For Motion Graphics / Typography / Transitions.
• Strong Understanding Of Social Media: Hooks, Pacing, Safe Zones, Trend Formats, And Watch-Time Optimization.
• Portfolio Showing Reels You Edited (Links Required).
• Able To Work On-Site In Bengaluru.
• Knowledge Of AI Tools For Editing Workflows (Cleanup, Subtitles, Assist Tools).
