Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for New Part Development (Sheet Metal), located in Chandigarh, India. The role involves developing new sheet metal parts and collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to create innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing technical drawings, preparing production plans, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret technical drawings, assess feasibility, and solve manufacturing challenges
- Effective Communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of Programming and Software Development is an advantage
- Sales knowledge or experience is beneficial to understand customer requirements and enhance client communication
- Experience in sheet metal operations and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
