Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist based in Bengaluru. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, provide vision care services, and diagnose eye conditions. Responsibilities include prescribing corrective lenses, educating patients about eye health, managing pre- and post-operative care for eye-related surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Additionally, the Optometrist will maintain accurate patient records and stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing vision conditions
• Expertise in prescribing corrective lenses and contact lens fitting
• Knowledge of eye disease management, pre- and post-operative care, and treatment plans
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
• Valid optometry license to practice in India
• Previous experience in optometry practice is preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to stay updated with advancements and training in the field of optometry
