Front LIne Officer – Workshop & Utilities Full Time NEW

Plan, manage, and control the functioning of the Central Warehouse for all requirements in the plant. Monitor the operation and maintenance of the 500 kld ETP, water and drain management systems for the efficient reuse of effluent, provision of processed water to the plant and removal of drainage from the plant.

Job Context & Major Challenges

• Since the lathe used in the plant is fully manual, it poses a great safety challenge to its operators. Hence, we need to ensure all safety norms are being followed to prevent any injury/accident.
• Monitoring utilization of chemical in ETP is a challenge for cost optimization.

KRA1 Operation & Maintenance of Central Workshop

• Obtaining the requirement of workshop services by departments after getting the job slip filled.
• Scheduling and prioritizing of workshop services by the intensity and urgency of job.
• Rendering the required services to the production departments for repairing, modification in machinery/parts and breakdown.
• Monitoring and repairing the machinery in the central workshop regularly to prevent delay in providing services.

KRA2 Water management in factory premises

• Production and supply of soft, drinking, and processed water to the production as per requirement
• Maintenance and operation of 500 kld ETP for treatment and collection for reuse.
• Removing rainwater from the plant and colony premises to prevent waterlogging.

KRA3 Safety, Sustainability, and Compliance

• Ensuring the completion of all WCM activities for the workshop, 500KLD ETP, and water management systems.
• Taking the lead for all internal quarterly audits conducted by the WCM for ISO compliance. Preparation of required documents for the same.
• Monitoring of environment, testing and calibration of equipment as part of legal requirements.
• Filling the Legal Enablon and answering to queries by the corporate legal team.
