Role Description

The Assistant Manager – D2C Logistics will be responsible for managing end-to-end daily D2C logistics operations, including freight movement, shipping, receiving, deliveries, returns, exchanges, escalations, and NDR management. The role requires ensuring operational accuracy, maintaining SLA adherence, and delivering a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in D2C logistics operations, hands-on experience managing 3PL partners, and the ability to drive efficient and scalable logistics processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Order Management

– Ensure D2C orders are processed on time. 

– Ensuring fill rate of at least 99.5%. 

– Planning daily dispatch schedule for D2C orders. Ensuring Dispatch plan adherence at least 99%. 

– Publishing daily/weekly and monthly reports for Pending orders, Dispatch SLA TAT and Fill rate. Also, publish D2C orders – Dispatch TAT reports.

– Responsible for coordination with various channel partners to align 1st mile pickup 

– Planning stock transfer schedules for D2C Regional warehouses.

Logistics Management

– Ensure Delivery SLA TAT 98% for D2C orders. 

– Ensure prompt responses to queries /concerns raised by the Customer support team thereby clearing doubts/ apprehensions if any. 

– Monitor and improve the performance metrics of different logistics partners. Track 1st attempt, 2nd attempt 3rd attempt separately. 

– Publishing daily/weekly and monthly reports for logistics D2C orders – In transit, Delivered, RTO split. 

– Track and convert maximum NDR into successful delivery.

Process and Compliance

– Help implement SOPs. Manage workflow and day to day operations. Process adherence is a must. 

– Ensure compliance in hub operations and logistics in all areas. 

– Strategize and Execute central initiatives as well as contribute with ideas for effectively scaling up the operations in your city. 

– Explore opportunities for improving operations. 

– Special Projects – Manage/ Contribute to Special projects such as launching new cities, new channel partners, building new supply chain etc, NDD SDD 

– Maintain scorecards for various vendors- D2C Logistics.

Preferred Skills

– Willing to up skill, unlearn and learn. 

– Proficient in MS Excel and creating reports. 

– Ability to communicate clearly and engage with multiple stakeholders across functions. 

– Aware of AI tools and their usage in logistics. 

– Good knowledge of WMS/ERP and logistics tools like Easyecom, Clickpost.
