What IT Quality Control Contributes To Cardinal Health

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Quality Control analyzes and inspects Information Technology products and processes for compliance to internal and external specifications and standards. This job family collaborates with IT Project Management, Business Integration, and Application Development & Maintenance teams, among others, during implementation and integration projects to proactively identify compliance requirements and risks. Quality Control also conducts regular audits and develops and communicates new quality control procedures for the function.

Qualifications

• 10+years as Performance tester
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software-related discipline

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in designing Performance Test suites and Test Automation Frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with C, Java, or JavaScript for protocol-based and browser-based scripting..
• Expert proficiency in LoadRunner Professional/Enterprise and BlazeMeter
• Ability to perform development of test automation by designing and writing automated test scripts based on defined test cases, including the definition of test data for consumption by scripts during test execution.
• Strong experience of working with different platforms, Web applications and API (Android, iOS experience is a plus).
• Analyzing Test Results, Defect Reporting & Tracking on regular basis.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy and Risk Assessment.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions and has strong analytical skills in identifying and designing Regression scenarios for the same.
• Solid experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle applying best practices and Agile software development methodologies.
• Passion for improving code quality through interaction with development teams in India and across.
• Mentor performance test engineers, work and engage in cross team collaboration to enhance the test efficiency across the groups and to foster an environment of development and inclusivity.
• Collaboratively work with various cross-functional teams across the globe.

Desired Skills

• Hands on Experience in API Performance testing (Load Runner preferred)
• Hands on experience in web applications Automation in Katalon (mobile applications testing would be a plus)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Concourse preferred)
• Thorough understanding of Non-Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge of software Test methodologies, tools, and processes
• Possess good analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Structured and influential communicator: verbally, in written documentation and in presentations.
• Understanding of ATDD & BDD model & Ability to help transform organizations to use techniques and building test automation is a plus
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts is a plus.
• Exposure to eCommerce and healthcare domain Testing is a plus
