Engineering Manager – AI Full Time

Trademo is a Global Supply Chain Intelligence SaaS company processing 50TB+ of data. We use Graph Databases, Vector DBs, and LLMs to build end-to-end visibility for world giants like Amazon and Unilever. Our mission is to move from “Data-as-a-Service” to “Agent-as-a-Service,” where autonomous agents navigate the complexities of global trade.

The Role

We are looking for a leader who is an elite Engineering Manager and an AI Agent Architect. You will lead a high-performing engineering team through the lens of an AI-native workflow. You are not an administrator; you are a hands-on leader who uses AI to ship 10x faster and spends a dedicated portion of your time designing the “brain” of our autonomous supply chain agents.

Responsibilities

• High-Velocity Delivery: Own the execution and delivery of critical product verticals. You ensure the team ships high-quality, scalable code on time, removing blockers and managing sprint health. Architectural Stewardship: Guide the design of scalable systems capable of handling 50TB+ of data. You ensure our tech stack (Python, Go, Vector DBs, ElasticSearch) remains robust and future-proof.
• Team Evolution: Manage and mentor a team of 5-8 engineers. You aren’t just teaching code logic; you are teaching them how to be AI-Native Developers who leverage tools (Claude Code, etc.) to automate the drudgery.
• Product-Engineering Bridge: Work closely with Product Managers to translate business intent into technical specs. You prioritize “shipping value” over “perfect code.” AI Agent Development & Evaluation.
• Agentic Orchestration: Lead the development of autonomous agentic workflows. You will design how agents plan, use tools (Function Calling), and reason through complex supply chain tasks using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Evaluation & Reliability: Own the science of AI Evaluation. You will build frameworks (e.g., LLM-as-a-judge, Ragas) to measure agent accuracy, hallucination rates, and tool-use reliability to ensure our agents are production-ready.
• AI Research to Production: Actively experiment with the latest in LLMs and Agentic AI. You are responsible for bringing the most effective patterns (RAG, Long-term Memory, Multi-agent collaboration) into the Trademo platform.

Who are we looking for?

• 10+ years in engineering, with at least 1-2 years leading teams.
• You have a proven track record of shipping complex SaaS products.
• You are an active power user of AI coding assistants. You believe that “coding by hand” is for edge cases and that AI should handle the boilerplate, refactoring, and test generation.
• You understand the difference between a “Chatbot” and an “Agent.” You have hands-on experience or a deep theoretical understanding of agentic planning, reflection, and tool integration.
• You prefer shipping over meetings. You have a high sense of urgency and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where requirements evolve.
• Deep proficiency in Python (preferred). Experience with modern data stacks (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Vector DBs) and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
