• Role: Social Media Manager
• Location: Hybrid Work (2 days a week in office) – MG Road office
Shift Timing – Covering Australia and India Time Zone
• Duration: 12+ months
looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Manager to support our social media operations and brand presence across digital platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional who is passionate about technology, communications, and digital engagement.
In this role, you will work closely with multiple internal stakeholders including marketing, communications, leadership teams, agencies, and regional teams to help execute social media activities effectively and accurately. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, and stakeholders to support social media campaign execution and publishing schedules
• Review and validate social media content for accuracy, brand alignment, tone, grammar, and compliance before publishing
• Support creation and optimization of social media copy, captions, and messaging suggestions to improve engagement and clarity
• Monitor Cisco’s social media channels daily to track audience sentiment, identify emerging concerns, and escalate issues where necessary
• Assist in publishing and scheduling posts across key social platforms
• Ensure campaign reporting and performance tracking are maintained accurately and delivered on time
• Compile regular performance reports and provide basic insights on engagement, reach, and campaign effectiveness
• Maintain strong operational discipline and ensure timelines are met consistently
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related role
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy
• Good organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Basic understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
• Familiarity with social media management and reporting tools is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn, work hard, and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Flexibility with work timings when required to support business priorities or global stakeholders
