We are looking forward to hire IBM DB2 Professionals in the following areas :
Experience Required- 4 To 6
Primary skill set: Database: IBM DB2 Z/OS (Mainframe), Query Language: SQL
Tools: DB2 Command Line Processor (CLP), Catalogue Manager
Responsibilities:
- Managing DB2 objects (creation, alteration, deletion) and performing space checks.
- Handling incidents (contention, space/thread issues, job abends, JCL/SQL errors) and resolving failures.
- Scheduling and executing maintenance tasks including Reorg, Image copy, Runstat, backup, recovery, and data refresh.
- Ensuring DB2 subsystem availability and optimal performance for application access.
- Query optimization, performance tuning for efficient DB2 operations and Basic migration activities.
- DB2 management using tools like IBM, Platinum & BMC Tools.
- Report generation using Power BI and weekly status reporting.
- Managing tickets via tools, phone, and email.
