The Corporate Communications and PR function’s objective is to:

2. To increase mindshare of the Godrej Brand as well as B2B/B2C Products and Solutions among media and other relevant external audience

Job Description:

The position reports to Head – Corporate Communications & PR. The responsibilities are:

1. Support the team on driving impactful Corp Comm and PR and build a strong reputation for GEG
2. Identify and explore (in collaboration with the PR advisory) thought leadership opportunities- media/ speaker/ sponsorship opportunities.
3. Build narratives that help business objectives and tie back to the corporate narrative framework.
4. Conceptualize owned media properties that help in establishing category-based thought leadership.

Media relations & Content

1. Co-develop and implement PR strategies and publicity campaigns for B2C and B2B businesses within the group.
2. Build, narrate and maintain strong relations with key media.
3. Be up to date on current trends, issues and news about consumer, business and corporate media.
4. Manage external PR advisory.
5. Ensure consistency of companywide communication and support impactful regional media strategies.
6. Ensure business narratives are aligned with the corporate reputation pillars.
7. Ensure corporate messaging is seeded across business communication briefing document for all media engagements.
8. Partner with media platforms and thought leaders to seed content that enhances G&B reputation.

Digital PR

1. Increase digital safety net of B2C and corporate brand.
2. Identify and liaison with micro influencers/ social commentators.
3. Amplify corporate brand’s digital presence – through support to the corporate social media team on content direction, influencer marketing, social media platforms of editorial teams, social communities.
4. Create high impact content driven narratives and amplify through relevant digital platforms.
5. Monitor digital analytics to gain insights, take corrective action and spot opportunities.

Internal stakeholder management

1. Close co-ordination with brand managers and PR SPOCS from B2C brands.
2. Provide strategic recommendations to business stakeholders.
3. Arrange capability building training/ workshops for stakeholders.

Industry thought leadership.

1. Create Speaker opportunities/ visibility at industry forums.
2. Study placement in reputed colleges/ schools/ institutes

Required Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline with post-graduate qualification from a reputed institute in PR/Communications/Media/Journalism

Required Experience:

1. Min. 10 years of relevant work experience in PR & Corporate Communication functions
2. Relevant network with media- especially with consumer & corporate media
