Role Description

NYX is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can create visually compelling designs across digital platforms while understanding brand storytelling, performance marketing, and modern internet aesthetics.

The ideal candidate should possess strong visual thinking, a sharp design sense, and the ability to convert ideas into high-quality creatives with speed and precision.

You will work closely with the marketing, product, and growth teams to create impactful designs for campaigns, social media, branding, product communication, and performance marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who combines creativity with execution and understands how design influences user behavior and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Branding

• Design high-quality creatives for social media, digital campaigns, ads, landing pages, and branding
• Create visually engaging assets aligned with NYX’s brand identity
• Develop design systems, templates, and scalable creative assets

Performance Marketing Creatives

• Design conversion-focused ad creatives for platforms like Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram
• Understand modern design trends and high-performing internet-first content styles
• Work on static creatives, carousels, presentation visuals, and lightweight motion assets

Product & Communication Design

• Support UI mockups, product visuals, and internal communication designs
• Collaborate with product and growth teams to improve visual storytelling
• Translate complex ideas into simple and impactful visual narratives

Creative Thinking & Execution

• Bring fresh creative ideas and visual concepts proactively
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and campaign ideation
• Maintain consistency across all brand and marketing touchpoints

Tools & Skills Required

Must-Have Tools

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Figma
• Canva
• Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics understanding preferred)

Good-to-Have Skills

• Basic understanding of Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools
• Understanding of typography, color theory, layouts, and visual hierarchy
• Knowledge of social-media-first and mobile-first design principles
• Awareness of current design trends, internet culture, and creative advertising

AI & Creative Technology Understanding

• Strong curiosity and working knowledge of emerging AI-powered creative tools
• Ability to leverage AI tools for faster ideation, design exploration, content generation, and creative workflows
• Familiarity with tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Canva AI, Figma AI, or similar platforms is preferred

• • Understanding of how AI can improve creative efficiency while maintaining strong design quality and originality

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or Creative Design
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related fields
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, branding, and digital design skills
• Ability to think conceptually and execute designs quickly
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• High ownership mindset and attention to detail

Candidates from premier institutes like NID, NIFT, Srishti, MIT Institute of Design, and similar design schools will be preferred.

Fresh graduates with exceptional portfolios and internship experience may also be considered.

Compensation

For Freshers

• Six (6) months probation period
• Post probation compensation of ₹4–6 LPA, based on performance and role fit

For Experienced Candidates

• Compensation will be offered as per industry standards, based on experience, portfolio quality, and skill set
