Role Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (External Production) for a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves overseeing quality assurance activities related to external production. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring quality control procedures, coordinating with external manufacturers, and conducting audits. The role also includes preparing and reviewing necessary quality documentation and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Educational Qualification

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related life science discipline.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or related field.
• Certification/training in GMP, Quality Systems, or Regulatory Compliance preferred.

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in handling external/contract manufacturing quality activities preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of GMP, revised Schedule M, WHO GMP, and documentation practices.
• Good understanding of deviations, CAPA, change control, and batch review systems.
• Exposure to regulatory audits and external manufacturing operations.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/QMS documentation systems and Microsoft Office.
