Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru East for a Global Indirect Taxation Lead. The individual will oversee indirect tax compliance and strategy across USA, EMEA, and APAC regions, ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws. Responsibilities include working with Onesource and Vertex tools, managing tax audits, providing strategic tax advice, and improving tax processes. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to drive efficiency and ensure compliance with indirect tax requirements globally.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Onesource and Vertex, with demonstrated experience in leveraging these tools effectively for tax compliance and reporting
• Strong knowledge of global indirect taxation laws and regulations within USA, EMEA, and APAC regions, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in tax audits, tax advisory, and ensuring compliance with local and international tax standards
• Excellent organizational, project management, and leadership skills with the ability to manage global tax processes
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional, international teams
• Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent; a professional taxation certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
• 5+ years of relevant experience in indirect taxation management, preferably in a multinational environment
• Proficiency in working within international tax frameworks and prior experience in a leadership role strongly preferred
