Business Development Manager / Purchase Manager (Li ion Battery Recycling) Full Time

BlackMass Energies Pvt. Ltd. is a clean-tech company focused on lithium-ion battery recycling, black mass processing, critical mineral recovery, and circular economy solutions.

We work across the battery recycling value chain, helping recover valuable materials from end-of-life batteries and production scrap while building sustainable supply chains for the energy transition.

As we expand our sourcing and business development operations, we are looking for ambitious professionals who can help build strong supplier networks, develop strategic partnerships, and drive business growth.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager / Representative will play a key role in expanding BlackMass Energies’ sourcing and commercial network across India and global markets.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, onboarding suppliers, managing strategic partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving sourcing and revenue targets.

This is a target-driven role with significant growth opportunities and direct exposure to company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in battery recycling, metal recycling, e-waste, and circular economy sectors.
• Source lithium-ion battery scrap, black mass, e-waste, and related recyclable materials.
• Build and manage relationships with OEMs, recyclers, aggregators, dismantlers, manufacturers, and waste management companies.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing agreements, and long-term supply contracts.
• Develop sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, regulations, and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with operations, sourcing, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sourcing, procurement, and business development targets.
• Support expansion into new markets and strategic partnerships.

Bangalore | Delhi | Gujarat

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: ₹5 LPA – ₹12 LPA (based on experience) + Performance Incentives + ESOPs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and close commercial deals.
• Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
• High level of ownership and execution ability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to travel when required.
