Job Summary

The System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, user accounts, security, and hardware. The role ensures smooth IT operations and provides technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and workstations.
• Monitor system performance and ensure system availability.
• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network devices.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery activities.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain software and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and email-related issues.
• Manage antivirus, firewall, and endpoint security solutions.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Support users with technical issues and system-related requests.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent are preferred.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in System Administration and IT Support.
• Experience managing Windows Server environments and network infrastructure.
