Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Automation Test Engineer with solid experience in the latest web and mobile test automation frameworks. The Automation Test Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web, Android and iOS applications by designing, building and maintaining automated test frameworks. This is a technical role that involves working closely with developers and product owner to embed automation and quality into every part of the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts for web and mobile

applications using Appium and modern tools, with planned adoption of Playwright for web

automation and Flutter testing tools and frameworks to enhance mobile automation

▪ Perform functional and non-functional testing across web applications, mobile applications, APIs and

databases.

▪ Perform manual and automated testing with a strong focus on identifying edge cases and negative

scenarios. Create, maintain and execute test cases and automation scripts to ensure high test coverage.

▪ Develop and execute API automation and integrate it into the overall test framework

▪ Analyse business requirements and design comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression

and performance scenarios.

▪ Use AI-based automation tools and agents to improve testing efficiency, speed and overall quality.

▪ Analyse test failures, identify root causes and improve automation stability.

▪ Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and

demos. Log, track and verify defects to ensure timely resolution and proper documentation.

▪ Work on testing flows across multiple interconnected applications and ensure end-to-end validation.

Maintain clear documentation for test cases, automation frameworks and execution reports.

▪ Collaborate closely with developers and product owner to ensure quality across all stages.

▪ Continuously explore, evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks and AI-driven solutions.

▪ Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in testing and automation.

▪ Take ownership of assigned modules and deliver high-quality outputs within timelines.

▪ Ensure clear communication with internal teams and clients, managing expectations effectively.

Required Skills and Experience:

▪ Hands-on experience in test automation using at least one programming or scripting language: Python,

Java, JavaScript or TypeScript

▪ Experience in web and mobile automation using Appium, with exposure or willingness to adopt

Playwright for web automation and Flutter testing tools to enhance mobile automation

▪ Experience in API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Playwright, K6, JMeter or similar

▪ Experience in performance testing using JMeter, K6 or equivalent tools

▪ Experience with version control systems such as Git and integration with CI/CD pipelines

▪ Strong knowledge of database testing (MongoDB)

▪ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira

▪ Exposure to Flutter testing tools and frameworks and strong understanding of manual testing concepts

and ability to identify edge cases.

▪ Good communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.

Required Qualifications:

▪ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing

▪ Proven ability to design and implement effective test strategies

▪ Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional Agile teams. Strong understanding of mobile

testing practices, mobile application architecture and the software development and testing lifecycle.

▪ Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, analyse failures and improve automation

reliability.
