- Design, configure, and administer Azure resources including compute, storage, networking, and identity services to meet client requirements.
- Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, and role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging for Azure workloads to ensure high availability and performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, backup, and recovery operations for Azure-based infrastructure and services.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Azure services, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and root causes.
- Support migration of on-premises workloads to Azure, including assessment, planning, and execution activities.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for Azure environments.
- Collaborate with architects and security teams to implement governance, security baselines, and compliance controls in Azure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Azure administration best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, propose Azure-based solutions, and provide regular status updates on initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–9 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years focused on Azure Administration in production environments.
- Hands-on experience managing Azure compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Strong understanding of Azure portal, Azure CLI, and basic automation for administrative tasks.
- Proven experience in monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery operations within Azure.
- Solid knowledge of security, access management, and governance concepts in Azure environments.
