Role Overview
We are looking for a high-hustle, relationship-driven Partnerships & PR Manager to aggressively scale user acquisition and brand authority.
This is not an administrative or “agency-style” desk job. You will be directly responsible for leveraging personal networks, activating top-tier student communities, and building buzz across regional media to onboard the next wave of talent onto our platform.
Key Responsibilities & Weekly Expectations
1. Influencer & Celebrity Onboarding (Target: 10–15 Closures/Week)
Tap into your existing personal network of actors, models, and digital creators to introduce them to the Stars N Celebs platform.
Actively pitch and secure early-access custom domain handles (starsncelebs.in/YourName) for high-potential talent.
Walk talent through their profile creation, ensuring a premium presentation of their headshots and showreels.
2. Strategic College Campus Activations (Target: 3–5 Engagements/Week)
Direct outreach to cultural secretaries, student council heads, and media/drama department professors at key colleges.
Pitch performance-based sponsorship/partnership frameworks where campus festival support is explicitly tied to hitting a target metric (X number of student registrations).
Create and manage unique tracking codes for different student bodies to directly drive volume.
3. Regional PR & Media Relations (Target: 3–5 Placements/Week)
Build and maintain a rolling roll call of journalists, entertainment bloggers, and digital media desks across regional language publications.
Package local talent onboarding trends and college partnerships into highly publishable news angles (e.g., “How local artists are using Dynamic Visiting Cards to bypass industry gatekeepers”).
Secure consistent print and digital press features without relying on massive corporate budgets.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 2–4 years of active experience in celebrity management, PR agencies, media partnerships, or entertainment marketing.
The Rolodex: An active, warm network of micro-influencers, rising actors, casting assistants, or model coordinators, particularly in Mumbai or major regional hubs.
The Startup Mindset: A self-starter who values speed, performance, and actual user conversions over vanity metrics and “sent email” checklists.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to pitch win-win scenarios to student committees and talent management circles smoothly.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; fluency in regional languages is a significant advantage for media pitching.
