Power BI Developer – Supply Chain Analytics Full Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Power BI Developer with 4–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence and strong exposure to Supply Chain data and analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in developing scalable dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and a strong understanding of supply chain business processes.

The role will primarily focus on Power BI development, with future opportunities to work on advanced analytics platforms such as Incorta and Aera Technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Power BI Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Build visually compelling and user-friendly reports for supply chain stakeholders.
• Develop advanced:
• DAX measures
• KPIs
• Drill-through reports
• Bookmarks and storytelling visuals
• Optimize dashboard performance and report refresh efficiency.

2. Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting

• Develop analytics solutions across key supply chain functions including:
• Demand Planning
• Inventory Management
• Procurement & Purchasing
• Logistics & Transportation
• Warehouse Operations
• Order Fulfilment
• Supplier Performance

3. Data Modelling & ETL

• Design scalable data models using:
• Star schema
• Snowflake schema
• Perform data transformation using:
• Power Query (M)
• SQL
• Work with multiple data sources including:
• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
• CSV/Excel files
• APIs and cloud databases
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reconciliation.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with:
• Supply Chain teams
• Operations managers
• Procurement and logistics stakeholders
• Gather business requirements and convert them into analytical dashboards.
• Provide insights to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

5. Performance Optimization & Governance

• Optimize:
• DAX calculations
• Dataset performance
• Refresh schedules
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Follow BI governance and best practices.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards and datasets.

6. Future Analytics Platform Exposure

• Support future initiatives involving:
• Incorta
• Aera Technology
• Participate in advanced analytics and intelligent automation initiatives.
• Learn and adapt to emerging supply chain analytics technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in BI / Analytics development.
• Strong expertise in:
• Microsoft Power BI
• DAX
• Power Query (M)
• SQL
• Data modelling
• Experience with:
• Power BI Service
• Gateways
• Scheduled refresh
• Deployment pipelines
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts.

Supply Chain Domain Knowledge

• Hands-on experience working with:
• Inventory & warehouse data
• Procurement and sourcing analytics
• Logistics and transportation metrics
• Supply chain KPI reporting
• ERP data related to supply chain operations

Nice to have
