About CarBounty
CarBounty is the operating brand of Urbanfleet Technology Pvt Ltd, a DPIIT-recognised startup based in Gurugram. We’re building India’s first verified-buyer reverse-auction marketplace for new-car retail — a platform that flips the broken lead-generation model where dealers pay for leads that don’t convert. Instead, verified buyers declare their exact requirements, and a small set of matched dealers compete to win them.
We launch in Delhi NCR in October 2026 with a few brand dealers in our founding cohort. The founder is Piyush Anand, who brings 15 years of authorised auto-parts retail experience (Tata, Ashok Leyland) before building this platform.
About the role
This is an Associate role in the Founder’s Office. You will work directly with the founder, with no layers in between, on the highest-leverage pre-launch and launch work: signing dealers, building marketing, and shaping how CarBounty reaches its first buyers.
This is not a corporate training program. There is no playbook to follow because we’re writing one. You will be in dealer principal meetings from week one, helping the founder pitch, listen, and close. You will build collateral that goes out the same day it’s drafted. You will see every decision a founder makes — the good ones and the bad ones.
If you want to learn how a startup is built by being inside the founding team, this is the role. If you want a structured rotation program with a clear next step, this is not.
What you’ll do
→ Dealer meetings and Onboarding: Accompany the founder to 30+ dealer principal meetings across NCR in the first 90 days. Help present the CarBounty model, capture meeting notes, manage follow-up, and onboard the dealer onto our platform.
→ Marketing collateral: Build and iterate on the dealer pitch deck, one-pagers, email templates, WhatsApp messages, and on-ground material. We ship fast; quality matters.
→ Buyer acquisition: Help design and execute the buyer-side marketing strategy across Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, and WhatsApp communities. Brief external freelancers if engaged. Track and report performance.
→ Dealer pipeline management: Maintain the dealer hit-list, update outreach status daily, manage follow-up cadence, and prepare founder briefings before each meeting.
→ Content and onboarding support: Draft platform copy for buyer and dealer onboarding flows, FAQ content, support material for early users.
→ Be in the room: Every founder conversation that touches go-to-market is one you’ll be in. You’re hired to learn by participating, not by being told what to do.
Who we’re looking for
→ MBA from a recognised program (Tier 1 preferred, Tier 2 considered with strong fundamentals). Freshers welcome. 0-3 years of experience.
→ Bilingual in Hindi and English — non-negotiable. Dealer principals lean Hindi in negotiation; pure English speakers struggle in those rooms.
→ Strong on PowerPoint and Google Slides. Decent on Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas). Strong written communication.
→ NCR-based or willing to relocate immediately. This is a field role — 60% of your week will be in dealer showrooms across Gurgaon, South Delhi, Noida. Not a Zoom job.
→ Genuinely hungry. Not “I’m interested in startups” hungry. Actually hungry. Long days, ambiguity, real ownership, modest pay, real learning.
Honest framing on compensation
→ Fixed monthly compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 (depending on experience and demonstrated capability)
→ This is below MBA fresher market rate for 2026. I want to be transparent about that. The reason to take this role is not the salary — it’s the access, the learning, and the trajectory if you and CarBounty both perform.
→ Performance review at 6 months. Compensation revisited as the company progresses through launch and into Phase 2 funding.
→ No fancy office, no free lunches, no unlimited PTO. We have purpose, ownership, and a real shot at building something meaningful in Indian auto retail.
Growth path
If you join, perform, and CarBounty works: Associate → Senior Associate → Manager → Head of Sales or Head of Marketing within 18-24 months as the team grows. This role is genuinely a founding-team position with significant upside in scope and seniority — just without the equity component upfront.
If CarBounty doesn’t work, you’ll have learned more about marketplaces, dealer sales, buyer acquisition, and the Indian auto retail business than any MBA classroom can teach.
