Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop new corporate accounts, travel agents, and key clients.
Generate room night business and banquet/event inquiries.
Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
Promote hotel services, packages, and offers to clients.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients and key accounts.
Regularly visit clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Handle client inquiries, proposals, and negotiations.
Ensure timely follow-ups on leads and enquiries.
Sales Operations
Assist in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and rate agreements.
Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, and Revenue teams for bookings.
Ensure proper documentation of all sales activities and client records.
Support implementation of corporate rates and group bookings.
Revenue Generation
Achieve monthly and annual room revenue and banquet sales targets.
Contribute to maximizing hotel occupancy and average room rate.
Promote upselling of hotel services such as banquets, F&B outlets, and packages.
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Event & Banquet Sales Support
Handle banquet inquiries including weddings, conferences, and corporate events.
Coordinate with Banquet Operations and F&B teams for event execution.
Ensure smooth coordination from enquiry stage to event completion.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track leads, conversions, and business performance.
Maintain sales database and CRM records accurately.
Report market intelligence and competitor activities to management.
Coordination with Departments
Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Revenue Management, and F&B teams.
Ensure smooth communication for group bookings and special requests.
Work closely with Marketing for promotional campaigns and branding activities.
Market Visits & Representation
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Promote hotel brand image in the market.
