About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Developer with strong expertise in Duck Creek product configuration, development, and platform upgrades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Duck Creek tools and platforms, including upgrade implementations, integrations, and support activities within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and develop solutions using Duck Creek Express, Server, Author, Transact, Forms, and User Admin for new product implementations.
• Build and maintain:
• Manuscripts
• Inheritance structures
• Screens and fields
• Domains
• Rating logic
• Forms
• on Duck Creek platforms 7.2.4 and 25.5.
• Execute end-to-end Duck Creek platform upgrades from versions 6.2 and 7.x to 7.2.4 and 25.5, including:
• Assessment
• Gap analysis
• Code and configuration migration
• Regression testing
• Go-live support
• Develop and optimize:
• XSLT transformations
• XML payloads
• SQL stored procedures
• to support Duck Creek integrations and extensions.
• Implement Shredding logic for downstream reporting and data consumption.
• Support SIT/UAT activities, defect resolution, performance tuning, and post-production stabilization.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and client stakeholders across distributed teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek development.

• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek platform versions 7.2.4 and 25.5.
• At least one full end-to-end Duck Creek upgrade implementation experience from versions 6.2 or 7.x to 7.2.4 / 25.5.
• Experience in product/application development on the latest Duck Creek platform.
• Strong understanding of the P&C insurance policy lifecycle:
• New Business
• Endorsements
• Renewals
• Cancellations
• Reinstatements
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven and proactive team player with strong stakeholder interaction capability.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AWS services including:
• Compute
• Storage
• Networking
• Duck Creek workload deployments
• Exposure to:
• Duck Creek OnDemand
• AMI (Anywhere Managed Integrations)
• Duck Creek Insights
• Producer Portal
• Familiarity with Duck Creek Billing and Claims integration touchpoints.
• Duck Creek certifications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Duck Creek environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Insurance domain certifications such as LOMA or AINS are an added advantage.
