Role Description As an Admission Expert(PhD) at Ambitio, you will guide prospective students through the study abroad application process, from initial consultation to final application submission. You will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, help applicants shortlist suitable programs, review and refine their application materials, and provide clear timelines for each step. You will work closely with prospective students to answer questions, clarify requirements, and address concerns, ensuring a supportive and positive experience. You will also collaborate with internal teams to share insights from student interactions, support outreach initiatives, and contribute to improving platform content and workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening when working with diverse student profiles.
• Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a student-centric approach.
• Experience in Sales or consultative selling, with the ability to understand student needs and guide them toward suitable programs and services.
• Background in Student Recruiting, counseling, or admissions, preferably with exposure to international education or study abroad processes.
• Understanding of the Education sector, especially higher education systems, admission requirements, and global study destinations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple student cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort using digital tools and platforms for tracking student progress, documenting interactions, and collaborating with team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, counseling, international relations, or a related field is an advantage.
