Job Summary
IIM SKILLS is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented professional for the position of Team Lead – Individual Contributor (IC Role). This role is focused on student counselling, admissions support, and revenue generation. The position does not involve team handling or people management responsibilities and is ideal for professionals who excel in driving individual performance and achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Counsel prospective students regarding courses, career opportunities, and learning outcomes.
• Understand candidate requirements and recommend suitable programs based on their career goals.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and student inquiries professionally.
• Follow up with prospective learners and guide them through the admission process.
• Achieve individual admission and revenue targets consistently.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions in the CRM system.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective learners.
• Ensure a seamless admission experience by addressing candidate queries promptly and effectively.
• Stay updated on course offerings, industry trends, and organizational developments.
Requirements
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in EdTech or BPO Sales roles.
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to counsel, persuade, and convert prospective learners.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Target-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
Note
The designation for this role is Team Lead – Individual Contributor (IC Role). However, the position does not include team handling, people management, or supervisory responsibilities. It is an individual contributor role focused on admissions, counselling excellence, and revenue generation.
