Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nhava Sheva for a Customs Clearance – Operations Manager. The role involves overseeing import and export customs clearance processes, managing required documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies. The Manager will liaise with authorities, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues. Additional responsibilities include supervising a team, optimizing processes for efficiency, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs clearance processes, regulatory compliance, and documentation related to import/export operations.
• Proficiency in logistics operations, team management, and streamlining workflows for greater efficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with authorities, clients, and internal teams.
• Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to handle discrepancies in customs clearance and ensure timely resolutions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing and reviewing documentation.
• Working knowledge of international trade laws and regulations; familiarity with relevant software tools is advantageous.
• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in a similar position within the logistics or freight forwarding industry will be beneficial.
