Roles and Responsibilities

1.Financial Analysis and Insights

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning.

2.Financial Reporting

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare quarterly Secretarial Schedules for Board Deck
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and review of results in line with the SEBI regulations and accounting standard.
• Review of TB and Balance sheet GLs
• Flow of regular MIS to support decision making

3.Account Reconciliation

• Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, inventory, and accruals.
• Analyze account balances and fluctuations to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

4.Audit Management

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Implement and maintain controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
• Deriving insights from various process owners for submission of documents to auditors
• Driving the timely completion of Limited Review, Statutory Audit & Tax Audit
• Drive the statutory compliance within Units by regular tracking of payment of statutory dues such as TDS, TCS, PF

5.Process Improvement

• Collaborate with teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Get business process understanding for new transactions and provide Technical guidance for recording the financial transactions
• Assessing and Executing the Financial process Changes resulting from latest development in IND AS, Companies Act,2013, Direct tax and Indirect Tax

6.Stakeholder Management

• Act as MFL Interface with Corporate Indirect Tax Team, Corporate direct Tax Team, HO Treasury Team, Corporate HR Team

Qualifications and Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, and Controllership roles
• Prior experience in month-end close, audits, and financial statement preparation
• Exposure to IND AS, Companies Act 2013, Direct & Indirect Tax compliance
• Financial reporting & analysis
• Preparation and review of Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow
• General Ledger (GL) review and Trial Balance (TB) analysis
