Sr. US Accountant Full Time NEW

Job Summary:

Full-time on-site role in Kolkata for a Senior US Accountant. Responsibilities include managing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, ensuring US GAAP compliance, and handling financial reporting & analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and full-cycle bookkeeping
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes and prepare working papers
• Prepare and analyse financial statements accurately
• Support internal and external audits effectively
• Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and maintain client communication
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and accounting policies

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of accounting experience (experience with US clients preferred)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Familiarity with accounting software like Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (preferred)
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles
• Experience in reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.

Location – Kolkata, Salt Lake Sector 5 (Onsite)

Work Schedule – Monday to Friday (12pm – 9pm)
