Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Executive, based in Navi Mumbai. The IT Executive will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to teams, administering network systems, and overseeing IT operations. The role demands proactive problem-solving and collaboration to maintain organisational efficiency and technological reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Laptop & Hardware Management
Configure, install, and set up laptops for new employees.
Perform regular system updates, upgrades, and maintenance.
Troubleshoot hardware issues (battery, display, keyboard, ports, etc.).
Maintain inventory of laptops, accessories, and IT equipment.
Coordinate laptop repairs and warranty claims when required.
Software & System Support
Install and manage required software and licensed applications.
Provide technical support for Windows/Mac systems.
Manage antivirus installation and regular security updates.
Handle email configuration and user account setup.
Network & Connectivity
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity issues.
Support printer setup and network devices.
Coordinate with internet service providers when required.
IT Security & Data Management
Ensure data backup and recovery processes are followed.
Implement basic cybersecurity measures.
Manage user access control and password policies.
IT Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of IT assets and service logs.
Track system performance and downtime.
Prepare basic IT reports when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Mac knowledge is a plus).
Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, and antivirus tools.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to assist non-technical staff.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Drive, OneDrive).
Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices.
Experience with IT asset management tools.
