About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Support Officer to support the administration and enrollment processes for apprenticeships and other funded training programmes. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage learner documentation and compliance requirements efficiently.
This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working with paperwork, maintaining accurate records, communicating with learners, and ensuring a smooth enrollment journey from application to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Manage learner enrollment and onboarding processes for apprenticeships and funded courses.
Collect, verify, and maintain learner documentation in line with compliance requirements.
Process applications, registrations, and funding-related paperwork accurately and within deadlines.
Maintain learner records and databases, ensuring all information is up to date.
Track enrollment progress and follow up with learners for missing documentation.
Prepare reports and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Liaise with learners, employers, and internal teams via email, phone, and online platforms.
Support audits and compliance checks by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
Assist with general administrative duties and process improvements.
Requirements
Previous experience in administration, student support, learner services, admissions, or enrollment processes.
Experience working with apprenticeships, funded training programmes, education, or training providers is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of apprenticeship enrollment procedures and funding documentation.
Experience using CRM or learner management systems.
Understanding of compliance requirements within the education and training sector.
