Cloud Ops tech lead

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management: Architect, build, and maintain scalable hybrid-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Reliability & Incident Management: Own system uptime, lead root cause analyses, and drive resilience strategies such as disaster recovery planning.

Automation & CI/CD: Establish tooling for seamless software delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated monitoring.

Technical Leadership: Mentor engineering teams, provide architectural direction, and influence technology roadmaps.

Security & Governance: Ensure cloud environments meet strict regulatory and information security requirements.

Qualifications

Typically 5-10+ years in IT, with 3-5+ years specifically focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation.

5 – 7 years hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and continuous integration platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, cross-departmental communication, and a track record of mentoring technical staff.

Must have Skills:

* 3–5+ years focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation

* 5–7 years hands-on expertise with AWS/Azure/GCP

* AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud (GCP)

* Terraform (IaC tool)

* Kubernetes (container orchestration)
