Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening clinical adoption of Meril’s Peripheral Intervention portfolio in Bangalore. The role demands strong clinical acumen, relationship management, and hands-on support during interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Performance & Territory Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Meril PI products
Develop and implement territory strategies aligned with company objectives
Increase market penetration in key hospitals and cath labs
2. Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
Interventional Radiologists
Vascular Surgeons
Interventional Cardiologists
Strengthen presence in key accounts (Apollo, Manipal, Narayana, etc.)
Identify and develop new accounts in Bangalore and surrounding areas
3. Clinical & Technical Support
Provide OT / Cath Lab support during peripheral procedures
Assist doctors with product selection and usage
Conduct product training and workshops for hospital staff
Drive clinical confidence in Meril products
4. Product Portfolio Responsibility
Promote and manage:
EverFlow PTA Balloon Catheters
BioMime / Misago Stents (if applicable in PI portfolio)
Drug-Coated Balloons (DCB)
Accessories (Guidewires, Introducer Sheaths)
5. Tender & Institutional Business
Handle government and private hospital tenders
Coordinate documentation, pricing approvals, and submissions
Maintain compliance with institutional requirements
6. Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking
Monitor competitor activities (pricing, product launches, strategies)
Share insights with regional and marketing teams
Identify opportunities for new product placements
7. Collections & Operations
Ensure timely payment collections
Coordinate with distributors and supply chain for product availability
Maintain inventory planning for key accounts
8. Reporting & CRM
Submit daily call reports, sales reports, and forecasts
Maintain CRM data and account updates
Participate in review meetings with management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Science / Pharmacy / Biomedical / Engineering)
MBA (Preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
3–6 years in medical device sales
Experience in Peripheral Intervention / Cardiology / Vascular segment preferred
Prior experience in handling Bangalore territory is an advantage
