The Opportunity

We’re looking for a founding team member to lead Growth, Brand and Community.

This is not a traditional marketing role.

You will help shape the company’s strategy, culture, product positioning, customer experience, and growth engine from day one.

You will work directly with the founder (and be one) to build purepicked into the most trusted consumer brand in the healthy food and grocery space.

What You’ll Own

Brand Building

• Define and evolve the purepicked’s brand
• Create a distinctive voice and identity
• Build trust and credibility in the health and wellness space
• Establish purepicked as a thought leader in clean-label living

Growth & Customer Acquisition

• Design and execute growth strategies across digital channels
• Build acquisition funnels across paid, organic, influencer and referral channels
• Drive customer acquisition while maintaining healthy economics

Community

• Build a passionate community around healthy living and conscious consumption
• Create educational content around ingredients, nutrition and food quality
• Engage directly with customers and advocates
• Build ambassador and referral programs

Partnerships

• Develop partnerships with creators, nutritionists, fitness experts and wellness communities
• Build strategic collaborations with aligned brands and organizations
• Drive co-marketing initiatives

Customer Insights

• Deeply understand customer needs and behavior
• Translate insights into campaigns, products and experiences
• Continuously improve customer engagement and retention

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• 5–10 years of experience in marketing, growth, brand building, community, consumer startups or D2C
• Strong storytelling and communication skills
• Knack for spotting trends and understanding good design
• Ability to execute with limited resources
• Entrepreneurial mindset and bias for action
• Passion for health, food, wellness and conscious consumerism
• Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage startup environments

Bonus Points

• Experience scaling a consumer brand from 0 to 1
• Built creator, influencer or community-led growth engines
• Experience in food, grocery, wellness, nutrition or FMCG
• Strong content creation capabilities
• Existing network within health and wellness ecosystems

• Significant founder-level equity
• Modest cash compensation initially (depending on stage and funding)
