Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medicine Procurement Executive role based in Delhi, India. The Medicine Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing and procuring pharmaceutical products in line with company standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and ensuring timely ordering and replenishment of medicines. The role involves coordinating closely with inventory, finance, regulatory, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent shortages or expiries, and support new product launches. The executive will also track market trends, assess supply risks, maintain accurate procurement records, and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, especially oncology, pulmonology, and HIV medicines, and understanding of dosage forms, storage conditions, and expiry management.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Familiarity with relevant drug regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements in India, including documentation and audit readiness.
• Proficiency in using MS Excel and other procurement or inventory management software for forecasting, order tracking, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and healthcare partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet time-sensitive procurement deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications in supply chain or procurement are a plus.
• Prior experience in hospital, distributor, or pharma-company procurement operations is highly desirable.
