IT Systems & Cloud Administrator Full Time NEW

About the Role 

You’ll own a broad mix of cloud administration, endpoint management, and security operations responsibilities across multiple client environments. This is a hands-on role — you’ll be the person who keeps systems running, deploys tooling, writes documentation, and supports internal and client-facing infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the Poindexters Lab team in a fully remote setting. 

What You’ll Do 

Endpoint & Identity Management 

• Configure and manage Microsoft Intune MDM for Windows and macOS devices across client tenants 
• Build and maintain Autopilot deployment profiles, compliance policies, and update policies 
• Package and publish applications via Intune, Company Portal, and PowerShell 
• Deploy Wi-Fi profiles, printers, and scripts to managed devices 
• Configure SSPR, LAPS, and device group management (assigned and dynamic) 

RMM & Scripting 

• Administer NinjaOne across client environments — device management, alerting, patch management, and automation 
• Write and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts for device management, automation, and reporting 
• Deploy scripts and policies through NinjaOne and Intune 

Azure & Entra ID 

• Build and manage Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs, NAT gateways, and Azure Firewall 
• Administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) — host pools, golden images, scaling plans, and geo-based access controls 
• Configure Conditional Access policies and MFA enforcement in Entra ID 
• Create and manage Enterprise Applications and SSO integrations 

Security Operations 

• Administer CrowdStrike — prevention policies, device control, IOA rules, exclusions, and user roles 
• Deploy CrowdStrike to Linux devices and support monthly device count reviews 
• Prepare monthly DLP reports and support security documentation 

AWS & Cloud Infrastructure 

• Manage AWS account provisioning, user onboarding, and role/permission assignment 
• Configure and support AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Session Manager tunnels 
• Administer Coralogix — user roles, groups, and access management 

Documentation & Operations 

• Maintain knowledge base articles for systems and architecture you own 
• Monitor daily file uploads and application events for client workflows 
• Manage SSO and provisioning for SaaS tools (e.g. Dashlane) 

What We’re Looking For 

• 3–5 years in an MSP, IT operations, or cloud admin role 
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD) 
• Solid working knowledge of Azure networking and AVD 
• Proficient in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and device management 
• Experience with NinjaOne RMM — configuration, automation, and multi-client management 
• Experience with CrowdStrike or equivalent endpoint security platform 
• Comfortable with AWS fundamentals — IAM, SSM, account management 
• Strong documentation habits — you write KBs others can actually follow 
• Self-directed and comfortable working remotely without close supervision 

Nice to Have 

• Python, Django and React development experience 
• Automation using terraform, powershell, bash, etc. 
• Experience with Coralogix or similar SIEM log management platforms 
• Familiarity with DLP tooling  
• Exposure to bot/application deployment 
• Azure and/or CompTIA certifications
