MEP Services Execution Coordinator Full Time

Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Services Execution Coordinator to oversee MEP and building services execution on site. This role ensures that services trades are coordinated effectively with civil works, that progress is accurately reported, and that interdependency risks across trades are proactively managed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities

MEP & Services Execution

• Monitor daily execution of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, ELV, and other building services packages against the approved MEP programme.
• Allocate available resources for critical and scheduled MEP works and inform the PSP Project Manager for implementation.
• Coordinate services contractors and subcontractors in alignment with the civil handover schedule.
• Identify interface conflicts between structural, architectural, and services works and escalate for resolution.
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments for MEP works are prepared, uploaded to the platform, and comply with applicable standards and codal practices.
• Supervise a dedicated close-out team (where required) to address minor MEP defects flagged through inspections or the platform.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Update MEP progress milestones, inspections, and trade completion status in the platform on a daily basis.
• Validate executed MEP quantities against scan-based outputs from the Observance platform before confirming progress updates.
• Monitor procurement timelines for services materials and equipment; coordinate with vendors to mitigate supply risks.
• Prepare regular MEP progress and compliance reports for client and internal review.
• Track defect closure and re-inspection status for all services works.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
• Monitor installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with design and performance requirements.
• Ensure test certificates, O&M manuals, and as-installed records are collected and filed in the document management system.
• Support RERA documentation requirements related to services milestones and statutory inspections.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of MEP coordination or services execution experience on commercial or residential construction projects.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of multi-trade construction sequencing, services coordination drawings, and BOQ measurement.
• Experience with digital project management or site reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-trade coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD MEP or equivalent.
