Role Description
The Team Leader / Assistant Manager – Proximate & Water Analysis will oversee and manage daily laboratory operations including testing, sampling, and analysis. The role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing reports, maintaining calibration of instruments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Method validation and verifications. The candidate will also need to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth laboratory operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in Proximate and Water Analysis, laboratory testing, and related methodologies.
- Experience in team management, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and team development.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and documentation, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Understanding of laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting processes.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a relevant field and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards will be advantageous.
