Introducing Apeiro Energy

Apeiro Energy is an energy tech company developing scalable Vertical Wind Turbine Technology targeting the 3.5 Lakh Crore Indian market. We design and develop small vertical wind turbines, starting from smaller 1 kW to sub-100 kW capacity models for various applications.

We are an IIT Kanpur and iCreate incubated startup and recipient of multiple national and International Awards including Top 10 Sustainability Leaders Award, AVINYA Energy Startup Challenge Winner, NewGen Rising Star Award by IRENA at COP 28, Dubai and Clinton Global Initiative Greenhouse Global Cohort 2024, New York, USA, Govt. of Gujarat contribution to innovation in Renewable Energy Sector.

Technologies we work on

Since the project demands a multidisciplinary participation, we require people with deeptech understanding in following technologies:-

● Embedded Systems.

● Power Electronics.

● Electrical Machines, PMG generators, motors

● IoT Edge Computing.

● Big Data Analytics.

● Electrical Control Systems Design.

Finding all these in one is extremely rare and we understand it. A desire to learn is what is important.

What are we looking for

We’re looking to add a permanent member who can head the electrical department of our project “iWind” and can lead the operation involving technologies discussed above.

The new team member will assist these developments:-

1. Purchase/retrofit/design wind turbine generators, mostly we use PMSG generators.
2. Design wind turbine controller and control system for on-grid/off-grid wind turbine installations.
3. Design remote turbine monitoring system using IoT edge computing.

What do we offer

1. The engagement will start with a 3-6 months internship and a permanent position could be offered at the end of internship.
2. This is an in-office internship and the chosen candidate will have to relocate to Ahmedabad.
3. The intern will be awarded monthly stipend of INR 10,000 – INR 12,000 during the internship period.
