Profile – Resource Planner (RMG)

Experience – 3+ years

Location – Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end resource allocation based on project requirements, staffing sheets, skill sets, and resource availability.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources across projects.
• Track resource movements, including onboarding, offboarding, roll-offs, and transitions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date allocation data in HRMS/RMG tools.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Delivery teams to manage resource allocation and deallocation.
• Manage allocation extensions, replacements, and confirmations.
• Proactively escalate resource gaps, delays, or mismatches to RMG Leads.
• Maintain visibility of available resources and upcoming bandwidth.
• Support Talent acquisition team by forecasting the hiring
• Identify skill gaps, excess capacity, and resource shortages in advance.
• Provide actionable insights for hiring and internal movements.
• Prepare and share weekly/monthly reports on resource utilization, availability, and allocation.
• Analyze data to improve resource planning efficiency.
• Track key metrics such as utilization, bench strength, and fulfillment timelines.
• Maintain documentation of allocation changes and resource planning activities.
• Ensure resource allocation aligns with project timelines, SOWs, and budgets.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and RMG processes.
• Support timesheet tracking, audit requirements, and HRMS data accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement in resource management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in IT services or consulting environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of skill-based resource allocation and capacity planning.
