Role Overview:
The DAM Lead will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of digital
assets, ensuring their effective storage, organization, accessibility, and governance. This role
bridges creative production teams and technology, enabling efficient workflows and
maximizing the value of creative assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Asset Management Strategy:
Develop and implement strategies for the organization, storage, and retrieval of digital
assets to support creative production workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define metadata structures, tagging systems, and asset lifecycles.
System Administration:
Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the DAM platform.
Manage permissions, user roles, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance.
Workflow Integration:
Work with creative, marketing, and production teams to integrate DAM solutions into existing processes.
Provide training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption by end-users.
Asset Quality Control:
Monitor asset uploads for adherence to guidelines, including file formats, metadata, and tagging conventions.
Conduct regular audits to maintain a clean and efficient repository.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for DAM-related queries across creative and marketing teams.
Liaise with IT and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades.
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate usage reports, identify trends, and recommend improvements to asset
management workflows.
Ensure compliance with brand standards and legal requirements for asset use.
