Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Category Sourcing Executive to identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers across multiple product categories. The ideal candidate should have strong sourcing skills, supplier networks, negotiation abilities, and a passion for discovering unique products that can be marketed globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop reliable manufacturers, artisans, exporters, and suppliers across India and neighboring sourcing markets.

• Source products within Fashion Accessories, Bags, Apparel, Jewelry, Scarves, Home Decor, Gifts, and Lifestyle categories.

• Conduct supplier evaluations including quality, pricing, production capabilities, compliance, and delivery performance.

• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead times, payment terms, and commercial conditions.

• Develop new product opportunities based on market trends and customer demand.

• Coordinate sample development and product approvals.

• Maintain supplier database and sourcing records.

• Work closely with the sales and merchandising teams to fulfill customer requirements.

• Support product customization, private label, and OEM development projects.

• Visit supplier facilities when required.

• Continuously identify innovative products and new sourcing opportunities.

Required Skills

• Strong sourcing and vendor development experience.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to identify product trends and market opportunities.

• Strong commercial and analytical mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and sourcing documentation.

• Willingness to travel for supplier visits.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in sourcing Fashion Accessories, Bags, Apparel, Home Decor, Handicrafts, Gifts, or Lifestyle Products.

• Existing supplier network across India.

• Experience working with exporters, manufacturers, and artisan clusters.

• Understanding of export quality standards and international buyer requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred.
