The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing revenue through digital media through designing and executing marketing campaigns. After campaigns have been launched, you will extract and analyze data across multiple channels. 

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who understands that the rules of marketing have fundamentally changed. Search is no longer just Google. Answers are no longer just SERPs. Brands are now being recommended — or ignored — by AI models that millions of people trust daily.

You’ll own CitedSpy’s entire digital marketing function: growing our organic presence, building our brand voice online, and ironically, making sure CitedSpy gets cited by the very AI engines we help our customers track.

This is a high-ownership, zero-fluff role. You’ll be hands-on, data-driven, and deeply curious about where search and AI intersect.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver digital marketing campaigns through all areas of the project life cycle
• Clearly understand and implement digital marketing campaigns which fit client needs
• Provide analytical reporting of campaigns to stakeholders

What You’ll Do

SEO

• Drive organic growth through technical SEO, content strategy, and link building

Social Media Marketing (SMM)

• Own and grow CitedSpy’s presence on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Reddit
• Engage with the GEO/AEO/AI marketing community to build brand authority

GEO: Generative Engine Optimization

• Optimize content so AI-powered search engines (Perplexity, SearchGPT, etc.) surface CitedSpy prominently
• Stay ahead of how generative search indexes and ranks sources

AEO: Answer Engine Optimization

• Structure content (FAQs, schema, long-form) to capture AI-generated answer slots
• Ensure CitedSpy content is the source AI engines pull from when answering relevant queries

LLMO: Large Language Model Optimization

• Monitor and improve how LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) mention and recommend CitedSpy
• Build citation-worthy content: case studies, data reports, expert roundups, and original research
• Work closely with the product team to turn product insights into content that earns LLM trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with SEO and SEM Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
