Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant (Fresher) to support the Procurement team in sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, processing purchase orders, and maintaining purchase records. The candidate should possess good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Compare quotations and prepare cost comparison statements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, and vendor databases.
• Track pending orders and update internal departments regarding delivery status.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Design, and Accounts teams for material requirements.
• Verify purchase documents and ensure proper documentation.
• Support inventory management activities and monitor stock availability.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and supplier performance tracking.
• Perform other procurement-related administrative tasks as assigned.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, B.Sc., or any relevant degree).
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of procurement and inventory processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ERP software will be an added advantage.
• Experience with data entry and documentation is preferred.
• Interest in procurement, supply chain, and vendor management.
