Vice President Finance (Finance Controller) Full Time NEW

As VP – Finance & Corporate Controllership, you will lead the organization’s financial reporting, governance, audit, treasury, controls, compliance, and finance transformation agenda while helping build a world-class finance function capable of supporting a high-growth, publicly governed enterprise.

You will play a critical role in strengthening financial discipline, driving decision-grade reporting, supporting IPO and investor readiness initiatives, and enabling business leaders to make faster, better-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Governance

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting across all business entities.

• Own consolidated financial statements, Ind AS compliance, and statutory reporting.

• Drive audit readiness and ensure best-in-class financial governance and disclosure standards.

• Partner with auditors, advisors, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure seamless compliance.

Audit, Controls & Compliance

• Lead statutory, internal, IFC, and regulatory audits.

• Strengthen internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.

• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, tax, and other statutory requirements.

Board & Leadership Reporting

• Develop executive MIS, Board presentations, Audit Committee packs, and strategic financial reviews.

• Deliver actionable insights on business performance, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and operational efficiency.

Treasury & Working Capital

• Manage banking relationships, liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations.

• Drive working capital optimization across inventory, receivables, and payables.

• Support debt management, fundraising initiatives, and capital structure planning.

IPO Readiness & Investor Support

• Support IPO and capital market readiness initiatives including financial disclosures, restated financials, and regulatory submissions.

• Partner with investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors, and investors on due diligence and fundraising activities.

Business Finance Leadership

• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Product teams to improve margins, cost competitiveness, and capital efficiency.

• Support annual planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop high-performing Corporate and Plant Finance teams.

• Build a culture of accountability, business partnership, governance excellence, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• Chartered Accountant (CA).

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.

• Experience in Financial Controllership, Corporate Finance, or Finance Leadership roles.

• Strong expertise in Ind AS, Financial Reporting, Audit, Treasury, Taxation, and Compliance.

• Experience working with listed, pre-IPO, PE-backed, or institutionally governed organizations.

• Proven track record of managing Big 4 audits and driving strong governance frameworks.

Preferred

• Experience in Automotive, Electric Mobility, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial sectors.

• Exposure to IPO readiness, DRHP processes, investor diligence, and capital market interactions.

• Experience leading finance transformation, ERP implementation, automation, and process excellence initiatives.
