About the Role:

Are you someone who loves working with your hands, dismantling vehicles, and understanding how machines work? At WISE, we are expanding our vehicle validation team in Pune and are looking for hard-working, curious Technicians and Mechanics to help us prepare and maintain vehicles for advanced testing.

If you have a strong passion for automobiles, know your way around a toolbox, and want to learn how modern vehicles are tested before they hit the market, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Vehicle Preparation: Assemble, disassemble, and modify vehicle components and mechanical subsystems for testing.

• Sensor & Instrumentation Setup: Assist engineers in mounting advanced testing sensors, wiring, and Data Acquisition (DAQ) equipment onto vehicles.

• Field & Track Support: Travel to outdoor test tracks, client sites, and proving grounds to provide hands-on mechanical support during vehicle trials.

• Maintenance: Maintain testing rigs, garage equipment, and workshop tools to ensure a safe and organized working environment.

• Problem Solving: Assist in basic troubleshooting of mechanical or electrical issues that come up during vehicle runs.

Qualifications: 

ITI Certification (MMV / Diesel Mechanic / Fitter / Turner / Electrician) or a Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.

Hands-on Skills:

• Good understanding of vehicle mechanisms, engines, suspension, and electrical wiring.

• Experience using standard workshop hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.

• Flexibility: Ready and excited to travel for short-term field trials and outdoor track-testing assignments alongside our engineering team.

• Attitude: A strong work ethic, disciplined approach to safety, and a willingness to learn new testing technologies.
