We are seeking an experienced professional with 7 – 15 years of relevant experience for a pivotal role in Delhi NCR, Gurgaon/Gurugram.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies, identifying growth opportunities and market gaps through in-depth consumer insights and competitive analysis.
– Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle management, from conceptualization and new product development to launch, market penetration, and eventual rationalization.
– Drive product sourcing initiatives, managing vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness for the product portfolio.
– Define and implement robust marketing strategies and campaigns, including content marketing, to build strong brand equity and drive consumer engagement across various channels.
– Oversee demand and supply planning, collaborating with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability while managing costs effectively.
– Establish and manage pricing strategies, conducting thorough cost management and profitability analysis to maximize revenue and margin for assigned categories.
– Utilize marketing analytics and product analyst insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and optimize marketing spend and product development efforts.
– Foster cross-functional collaboration with product design, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of product launches and marketing initiatives.
– Mentor and guide team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance within the marketing and product teams.
Required Skillset:
– Proven expertise in strategic marketing, brand management, and category leadership within the consumer products or retail sector.
– Strong analytical capabilities for market research, consumer insights, marketing analytics, and performance measurement.
– Demonstrated ability in product lifecycle management, including new product development, product sourcing, and product design principles.
– Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of building strong supplier relationships and achieving favorable outcomes.
– Proficiency in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, including content marketing and digital channels.
– Adept at financial acumen, including pricing strategy, cost management, and P&L responsibility.
– Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a premier institution.
