Job Profile

We are looking for a highly creative and execution-oriented Social Media Marketing Executive who understands music culture, internet trends and digital storytelling. The role involves conceptualising and executing social media campaigns for Songdew its features to create a growing community of artists on Instagram and of music listeners on YouTube.

The candidate should be passionate about music, understand Instagram and YouTube culture deeply, and should be capable of turning ideas into engaging digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies for Songdew and its music initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, static creatives and content calendars.
• Create content concepts around independent music, artist journeys, trends and culture.
• Track social media performance metrics and suggest improvements based on insights.
• Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, creator economy and music marketing innovations.

Profile of Idea Candidate

• 1–4 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing or Content Marketing.
• Experience in handling Instagram and YouTube campaigns is preferred.
• Candidates who have worked with music, entertainment, creator economy, lifestyle or youth-oriented brands/platforms will be preferred.
• Freshers with exceptional understanding of social media trends and strong creative skills may also be considered.
• Graduate/Post Graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Advertising, Journalism, Business Management or related fields.

Skills & Personality

• Deep passion for music, pop culture and digital media.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and trend-driven content.
• Creative thinker with ability to conceptualise engaging campaigns.
• Good communication and copywriting skills.
• Understanding of visual aesthetics and digital storytelling.
• Proactive, energetic and execution-focused personality.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage timelines efficiently.
• Basic understanding of analytics and social media insights.
• Knowledge of Canva, Figma or basic editing tools would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Meta Ads or performance marketing would be a plus.
