Job Description The Data Operations Analyst role will help provide expanded support for data insight roll out to marketing, Pursuits and key accounts teams. The role will help build, educate and strategically recommend next steps using data insight as the measure of performance across key programs, initiatives and campaigns. This role will be a critical piece in expanding the data service team, building out critical insight and expanding actionable insight for the teams listed as a trusted advisor within the data team. Responsibilities Build, validate, test and update reports and dashboards across the National Marketing and Communications team. The Data Operations Analyst need to understand client’s requests and end goals, advice on best data sources, fields and user experience designs. Build and deliver reporting insights using different platforms (Power BI, Adobe Analytics, SproutSocial, IBS, etc.) Provide rigorous assessment of the accuracy, validity and reliability of gathered information Working with Teams: Educating, Strategizing and Actioning Data Insight. Communicate insights effectively on delivered reports, dashboards, and presentations, making sure our internal clients fully understand the implications and conclusions that can be drawn from the data. Actively developing new methods, processes, best practices to be rolled out across the teams involved. Creating templates and standard work using analytical tools to automate as much data insights as possible. Ensure data quality through constant testing and review of filters. Actively working with Global Digital and Global Firms on sharing information and learning what can be done to optimize the data insight team at KPMG Canada within the Agency. Meet with the Global team Taking best practices and applying them to our daily work if needed. Qualifications 2+ years of relevant work experience Experience with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau) Experience with Digital Marketing analytics software (Adobe Analytics, SproutSocial, IBS, etc.) Strong attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to clean and dive into messy data to find insights Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Intermediate experience with relational databases (i.e. SQL, mySQL) is a plus Strong written and oral communication skills
